Ahoy there, mateys! Embrace the legend of Captain Kidd and the joy of pirate play. Don your pirate attire and gather with us at Parade Plaza by the Pirate Ship for a delightful photo session. Mingle with the swashbuckling crew, enjoy a shanty or two, and engage in conversations about seeking hidden treasures as we unveil hints on the exciting New London Pirate Adventure Map.
Ahoy, me hearties! The boisterous Bawdy Buccaneers are charting a course for the New London Pirate Festival on August 19th, right at Parade Plaza!
Embark on a musical voyage with Captain Lance D. Boyle of the Picaroon Princess and his trusty First Mate & “Cruise Director,” Truly Scrumptious. They’ll dock their vessel, The Picaroon Princess, at New London Parade Plaza, ready to welcome fellow pirates. Join in the merry exchange of tales and treasures, raise a chorus of beloved pirate melodies, or even learn a fresh tune or two.

Studio 33 Art & Frame Gallery is having a drawing for one of local sea glass artist Lori McLain’s pewter whale tail necklaces. The pewter whale tail is on a woven leather and sterling silver cord, cord comes in two colors silver and black, two sizes 16″ & 18″, a value of $42 to $46.

City Dock Restaurant– ( located on the Custom House Pier) Stop by for a Pirate punch and listen to the live music with skyway. Giveaways for the best pirate costume.
Thames river Gallery – Lighthouse Inn providing Lighthouse Inn famous lobster bisque and chicken satays and GALLERY GROG. Live music by Pfred Mileski. She is the wife of prominent New London artist Brad Guarino whose work is on display in the gallery. She is appearing from 7:00 – 9:00 and is a treat to be savored and worth waiting for until 7:00. She’s quite acclaimed as you can see what Rick Koster had to say about her.
A new artist STEVE CRYAN from Old Saybrook with select works of some very recognizable landmarks will be on display as well as Harry Thomas MSW author of “Peace By the Sea” will be signing his two books.
